Trial And Terror Lyrics

cover yourself with everything you can just to walk outside
buried inside an artificial tan with everything to hide
positive this can't be right

well january's cold and february's colder
but i can't stand to hold her anymore
and now that i am older
i wish that i had told her

cut yourself free
please abandon me
before things get really bad
things get really bad

don't blame yourself for my curiosity i swear it's not your fault
a trial and error tragedy, these bitter tears i swear they're filled with salt
positive this can't be right

How has no one commented on this song? Gotta be one of the best lines: "well january's cold and february's colder, but i can't stand to hold her ."

Gotta be one of the best bands as well :)

This is one of those songs that I can actually relate to really well. Back In January my girlfriend at the time and I started to have problems. I broke up with her in February, I couldn't continue in the relationship it was getting to hard for me, the line "but i can't stand to hold her anymore" it often brings tears to my eyes. I also tried to push her away because I had begun to fall for someone else and I didn't want to hurt her, so the line "please abandon me" is another that strikes a chord, because in so many words I tried to say that. "don't blame yourself for my curiosity" I dud become curious about this other girl and it was the catalyst that pushed me to finally end our four year relationship. On a side note, I was trying to escape that relationship for two years. It was draining me emotionally and physically. But it's something that I haven't gotten over yet and this song reminds me of that.
