The death of disco hedonism. Disco sold glamour but no one was living it. Punk was supposed to be the musical end of living the lie.

I still see Disco Man every night in my town. They're still out of thier head falling along and trying to get into cabs while totally pissed. 'The Dole' is the British Unemployment Benefit btw, a small amount of money (currently £45-ish a week) given to the unemployed who are 'actively seeking work'.
