Wonderful track from a tremendous record, "Strawberries" is my personal favorite effort from the Damned, though i do enjoy all their records very much. It is indeed inspired by Ann Rice's novel "Interview With the Vampire", and the little girl in the book is indeed named Claudia. The second verse is quite brilliant, actually. Paints quite a vivid picture.
inspired by a character in Anne Rice's vampire chronicles... cant think of the characters name... it might be Claudia... dunno... she was a little girl who was a vampire and David was fascinated by the idea of being eternally young
It was the 1st book in the chronicles, "Interview With the Vampire." Good Book!
