This song is about someone who seeks truth in a bunch of different religions and philosophies.
A very haunting song. One of my all time favorites by Peter Murphy.
My favourite by Mr Murphy. The music is hauntingly beautiful and the lyrics hit home quite well.
Song is clearly about philosophy and theology. The thing about God the word refers to the idea of the logos, that a perfect god can't interact directly with imperfection so he sends a "word" (Jesus)
