I Need You Back

I've seen Ben in an interview talking about this song. He said, that it's a song he's had for awhile and hasn't really had the opportunity to do it the way he wanted until now. He also said the lyrics were fun to sing.

Can't say I blame him. How fun to sing, "I need you back!" It's pretty much online with "Why can't I get/just one screw" from Ben's fave the Violent Femmes. Great song.

I happen to think this might be about Ben's relationships after Radish, maybe even during as he said it's a song he's had awhile. How many of haven't felt like, "I need you back!!!"

No, really, I went to his official website and this song was playing so I just had to get my hands on it. The lyrics are so simple but isn't a little simplicity good once in a while? It's also reaaally fun to sing.

When I listen to this song, I just want to hug Ben. It's an energetic song, but he's quite desperate groveling and begging for whoever it is to come back to him. (Well...duh, hence the title). Still, who wanted come back, after hearing this?
