self-injury. you wake up and it feels like a dream- sleeping at the "console"- a pun for the consolation of self-injury. signing out forever- going to far and losing your control over life. your second hand- the hand that holds the blade that's the reason why your easy to drive- the wrist, such an easy target, so vulnerable, so plumb, so white. this may not be what the song intended but that's where it takes me. easy to hide- the scared tissue, can be hidden under sleeves, can be positioned to not be seen

It's about a relationship based on drugs abuse. (My heart say yes, but I was sedated)

Being hooked in a lifestyle, that seems cool but is destroying him/her and looks like there's no escape from it cause there's a lot of social rewarding (You joined the band, that's the reason why you are easy to try)

Could be wrong, but for me, the words are right there and I relate.

I'm so infatuated and obsessed over the person I can't have that I fall asleep at my console, my laptop, my phone, exhausting myself to see them whilst researching on how to win them or just day dreaming of them. I don't remember my actual dreams I'm so exhausted.

I'm checking in my social media, just like any other, no big deal. It's not about them, right?

Signing off, signing out forever? Me deleting and attempting to stay off forever, just to get them off my mind and over it.
