Flicking Your Switch Lyrics
stole your visa card, and took a trip downtown
I don't really care that there's people around
nine two three, eight one six, is the sound of that flicking your switch
eight one five, one nine four, does this mean you don't trust me anymore?
(does this mean you don't trust me anymore?)
I'm so happy that you're coming out to play
now I'm only one cocaine decision away
three six nine, two four eight, is the sound of them closing your gate
eight one five, one nine four, does this mean you don't trust me anymore?
(does this mean you don't trust me anymore?)
it's the time to head beyond the city lights
now I don't recall there being warning signs
nine two three, eight one six, is the sound of that flicking your switch
eight one five, nine three four, does this mean you don't trust me anymore?

I can definitely see the S&M aspect.
To me, though, this song seems about a partner who stole his/her partner's credit card because the other person was doing something like cheating on them, or someting else devastating. So to get back, s/he stole the card. "Flicking your switch" seems like an alternative phrase to "Pushing your buttons". And the part abot cocaine, to me it's almost like that person was so devastated that they turned to drugs.
I wouldn't be surprised if I'm entirely wrong though.
Fantastic. Not only is it incredibly catchy, but it is also somewhat frightful and chilling. One of their best songs for sure.
This is a song about the S&M scene. Flicking your switch refers to something that some dommes to their subs, where they take their money and generally use and abuse them or, in mild cases, just strive to piss them off/ embaress them. Then they gauge their pet's reaction, and use it to control them. This domme is controling her pet with use of numbers, so that her pet functions like a robot for her (and I must add that the voice on the latter part takes on an authoritative edge, very sexy ^^) Erm, that is all. CHOW! And don't touch the sushi.
XOXOXO, Roxanne
Are you sure? I thought it was just about taking someone's credit card and going on a shopping spree.
I'm not sure about the whole S&M scene thing. I think this song is about a girl merely having a bit of fun with a boy, possibly at his own expense.
Hmm, I disagree about the D&s aspect of the song, though it could definitely apply. I think this song is more about using someone under the guise of being their friend or lover.
Maybe it's not S&M but there is a sexual undertone to this song I think. "flicking the switch" is slang for, uh, a girl doing what girls do best...

joooking. clearly its about shopping with a stolen card, it reveals it in the first line.
Yeah, i agree with the statement that said that it's about a girl having a little fun with a boy, at his expense. It's a fun song! :]
