Time for People

I think this has more to do with being really depressed or really upset/mad/angry. Sometimes, I don't want to deal with people, and I just want to sit in my room or house and listen to music and brood. Those are the times I "hate" people.

I'm thinking this is about an oppressive dictator, like Stalin, Hitler, or Hussein.

"I found no people for killing time So I found time for killing people "

Nobody loves him, so he kills people out of spite. No true reason, just hate because all he's recieved is hate.

"Contemplating genocide Upstairs waving, scared of people"

He's standing above his people waving, as he contemplates killing them all. His own fear of death urges him to kill innocent people.

"People always drifting out of pain They cannot hold on to nothingness Fingers bleed on the concrete walls Leaving only one nail for someone to see Only one nail screaming to me So many fingers pointing at me So many fingers pointing at me So many fingers pointing at me"

He kills people, and his country is brought down. His regime ended. The fingers are pointed at him, because no one else is to blame. He stripped his people of everything ("They cannot hold onto nothingness"). He's mutilated his people ("Fingers bleeding on concrete walls").

"And if you wait on me I'll be free one day"

Finally, he's locked away forever, yet has hope that someday he'll get out and unleash his anger once again.
