Anyone have any idea what this song is about? I'm kinda lost on the references.
Solanka is the last name of a character in a book. He lives with his wife and son and is a designer of dolls. He longs to escape his dull life and decides out of the blue to flea to New York, while their he begins drinking heavily and often can't recall what he had done the last night because of this. At the same time brutal acts of murder are taking place and Solanka soon believes that he might be responsible for the murders. I could only imagine that the song would have to be about the book.
