Fish that don't drown, Life in a bubble jungle --Fish require water, and implying the don't drown establishes that they are out of water, as in, located where they shouldn't be, yet refusing to return to where they belong and suffering no ill effects. This line also establishes the Bubble Jungle, a repeating metaphor.

I wouldn't frown, Not short another chuckle -- Politicians do their best to hide how they really feel, laughing at every joke, while alone with someone, and following their 'public' beliefs to dictate how they should feel to get elected, while also not insulting the person dishing out the comment. Snake in the ground, But I was in there for you -- Politicians will often express to some individual that they are fighting on their side, while really having nothing to do with their side, acting as a snake in the ground.

Now leaving town, Life in a bubble jungle. -- Politicians are on a quest to move higher up the political ladder, one doesn't ever stay in the same place too long. Mayor in one town, Gov., Congress. President. Such is the life of one who lives in the bubble jungle.

We're left with no arms, Right in the power struggle We're left with no arms, Right in the power struggle -- This is a possible ref. to Left and Right politics, it attributes the power struggle itself to the Right and points a finger at the Left for not putting up a real fight. Like a fist fight where one person attempts to argue their way out.

Wearing a crown, Life in a bubble jungle Chasing the clown, Not short another chuckle Snake in the ground, But i was waiting for you Now we have found, Life in a bublble jungle. -- New images in these lines are crowns and clown, the crown is an obviously mocking ref. to kings and their self-appointed power, while the chased clown might symbolize a child hood dream of being the president or perhaps expressing how silly politicians seem when the do what I described in the mirror line of the first verse.

Your life is in a bubble jungle, -- It is the band pointing out to the public that they are part of the bubble jungle too. We are the end cause of the whole situation, we shouldn't pick our leaders based on what they say, but based on their track record. What they did in the past.

Thats just my 2 cents, though.

Bubbles is about the government and how they lie to their citizens. The politicians and rich are out for themselves. They don't listen to the common people or care about their problems, what they want, or need. Like many SOAD songs they are bringing to light injustice and encouraging people to fight these injustices. Be free thinkers and question things. Don't go through your life blind.

Anyone else notice Darin in the back ground saying "Left...Arm...Power-struggle"

I always wondered too. Then i messed with the speed and equalizer and one of the noises turned out be a prerecording of Serj, repeating "remind you, did you." Now that doesnt make much sense, until i realized that after Serj (in the foreground) says "may i remind you" 6 times, Daron yells in a nasal voice "send me to the bubble jungle." So then it lines up, and should look like this...

This is most likely wrong, but I assumed that this song is about the Burger King vs. McDonald's war. How? Well, they constantly sing about a bubble jungle, which could be interpreted to be the "Play Lands" filled with the bubbles and slides and such. Why McDee's and BK, though? The two lines:

Wearing a crown = BK. Clown = McDee's. Chasing the clown means that BK is always trying to catch up to McDee's in the popularity category.

Another two lines:

Left with no arms, In the power struggle,

McDee's is always beating BK at most things (not food quality of course), including toys, licenses, technology, availability, comfort, and so much more. You see, McDee's has practically cut off BK from important selling-points.

That's it, take it with a grain of salt.

System should just tell us what all of their songs mean, because there are so many ways many of their songs can be interpreted.

May have something to do with the African Civil War going on at the moment, since many soldiers do drugs and "bubbles" is a slang for pills.

"Left with no arms in the power-struggle" has something to do with the UN's departure from the country and the lack of help from other countries.

"Life in a bubble jungle" enforces the drug problem, and Africa's location (jungle)

this song is about the power stuggle in America and how the averige citizen having apsulutly no power

Yeah, it's definetly about how average joe has no say in any matter (left with no arms in the power struggle) and how we all bow down to the government and it rules us (Beliving then knealing, appeasing)

Can anyone else prove me wrong??
