A Song To Ruin Lyrics
A lone voice crying in the wilderness:
Make the straight way for the coming of the…
A dry throat stutters on an empty vision of milk and honey and desolate quiet.
A dry mouth falters on the opening blast of a song to ruin,
What it left behind.
a bare sole longing for the feel of concrete and a lone voice crying in the wilderness.
I have these dreams when I’m feeling sick of unfinished patterns that I can’t collate at all.
Of an inward breath in a land bereft of uncrippled figures.
Of an exhalation,
Of the himavant,
Of a pulse.
Make the straight way for the coming of the…
A dry mouth falters on the opening blast of a song to ruin,
What it left behind.
a bare sole longing for the feel of concrete and a lone voice crying in the wilderness.
Of an inward breath in a land bereft of uncrippled figures.
Of an exhalation,
Of the himavant,
Of a pulse.

It pains me to say this, because I absolutely love Million Dead. But this is the 'only' song they've done which I don't like.
Anyone agree that its about alienation? Thats all I could get from it. All alone in a crowd, or in a workplace, in a concrete jungle. Promised "milk and honey", and crawling with everyone else miserably to get it.
Damn, thats depressed me now lol. :(
i love the lyrics to this song, especially "I have these dreams when I’m feeling sick of unfinished patterns that I can’t collate at all." i know what he means there.
i think the introduction is probably a bit long, but it does a good job of breaking up the album, which is otherwise very fast and direct all the way through.
this song is amazing, like greenplastic - that quote "i have these dreams" etc etc ia probably one of my favourites from the whole album. its just a shame they are not around anymore :'( they were amazing live
