Made To Measure Lyrics
I was born like this with hips like this
Lips like this and wrists like this
Legs like this and arms like this
A fist like this to hit you with, now
You're like school on Sunday
You ain't got no class
Keep running your mouth but...
You can kiss my ass!
Not made to measure baby
One size does not fit all
I will not be the one
You make to take the fall
Not made to measure baby
One size does not fit all
I will not be the one
You make to take the fall
I got the curves to fear, I got the words to feel
And when I scream I've heard them say
I've got the voice to heal
You don't have to be sorry
You don't have to be saved
You just need to be proud of the body that God gave
Not made to measure baby
One size does not fit all
I will not be the one
You make to take the fall
Not made to measure baby
One size does not fit all
I will not be the one
You make to take the fall
Listen to me say...yeah!
I'm so fat I'm fucked up
I'm so skinny I'm sick
I'm so tired of the magazines
Talking that bullshit!
I'm not fat, they're fucked up
I'm not skinny, they're sick
I'm just tired of the critics who keep talking their bullshit!
I was born like this, with eyes like this
Teeth like this and thighs like this
A face like this, a waist like this
And when I die...I'll die like this...now
You're like school on Sunday
You ain't got no class
Keep running your mouth but
I just might kick your ass!
Not made to measure baby
One size does not fit all
I will not be the one
You make to take the fall
Not made to measure baby
One size does not fit all
I will not be the one
You make to take the fall
Let me hear you say...yeah!
You're so fat, you're fucked up
You're so skinny, you're sick
You're so tired of the magazines
Talking that bullshit!
You're not fat, they're fucked up
You're not skinny, they're sick
You're just tired of the critics who keep talking that bullshit!
Now what? Now what? Now what? (3x)
What you gonna say next time you see us?
Now what? Now what? Now what? (3x)
What you gonna say next time you see me?

The unique thing about Tairrie B.'s song writing is that she can just say whatever the hell she wants to say and it kicks ass. This song is pretty obvious- its about a person being sick of being judged. She's saying that I was always like this and I'll always be like this so get over it. She's talking about media culture that promotes the fact that girls have to be skinny and materialistic. But it also has the glint of doubt that many people who face this problem have-the three different versions of "Fat/Fucked Up, SKinny, Sick".This is a great song. Tairrie B is a metal goddess.
Wow. This song is greatness. It really sounds like Tairrie is taking out her rage through song, like most of My Ruin songs. And yes, this song is just about being sick and tired of being judged and not wanting to change for anyone.
i love this song. We dont have to be some ideal size to be perfect.

Great lyric;)
It's about a journalist for Rock Sound who wrote horrible things about Tairrie's looks. That same journalist interviewed her after that song came out lol
Class, power and a scream that heal's...she took Gloria Gaynor's 'I will survive' to school on a sunday...no woman cannot feel empowered after listening to her, shit, i feel like my nuts grew a couple 'sport' sizes during the song..
The best compliment i can give Tairrie is that i wish both my daughters grow up to be like her...can't wait til they old enough to listen to her....
PS..Next time i see you, i'm gonna say you're the most beautiful, powerful, liberated person in the world...wishes
