A mother sings a lullaby to a child
Sometime in the future the boy goes wild
And all his nerves are feeling some kind of energy

A walk in the woods and I will try
Something under the trees that made you cry
It's so erotic when your make up runs

I got wiring loose inside my head
I got books that I never ever read
I got secrets in my garden shed
I got a scar where all my urges bled

I got people underneath my bed
I got a place where all my dreams are dead
Swim with me into your blackest eyes

A few minutes with me inside my van
Should be so beautiful if we can
I'm feeling something taking over me

General Commentquote: "The whole album shows how collaboration with Opeth has opened a new world to Steven Wilson. Death Metal and Black Metal are worlds of intense guitar riffs and distorted lyrics."

Steven Wilson worked with black metal bands too? Well, this song's lyrics are quite "black".
I think Steven Wilson changed the face of Opeth's albums too. From Still Life to Blackwater Park there's an obvious difference. Opeth has since become more modern, more mainstream, despite Still Life being the best of them all.
I guess Opeth should be thanked for PT's incorporating progressive metal elements. The 21st century Porcupine Tree are considerably better than their psychedelic counterpart back in the 90s. (all the more reasons why Pink Floyd sucks.)
And "Blackest Eyes" is considered to be the best PT song ever, on the best PT studio album ever. (that's not my opinion, just according some RYM votes)
