Definitely one of the all time greatest bands. Fantastic writing, harmony, and instruments. They also looked great live. Too bad they made some bad business mistakes. The music never gets old.

This is one of the greatest songs ever. The lyrics....should be and no doubt have been, incorporated into a marriage ceremony! (My parents would've been a bit surprised, but secretly delighted. The key is the commitment : forever!) ^_^ Moby Grape forever! Jerry Miller and the crew never cease to delight, amaze and inspire me! Saw him live 3000 miles from where I bought the album 50 years or so ago...and worth the wait, and with my wife of almost 40 years. Never thought I'd live this song! This music stands the test of time. Bella, incantevole, musica.

By the way, to all those who do this work on Song Meanings....Thank you. It is so much fun to have a "transistor" radio that you can "talk" (teletype?) through to other listeners! This is like a big pub where you can trade ideas and hear other people's interpretations of lyrics and their take on the art of rock 'n roll...
