"Some Velvet Morning" as written by and Lee Hazlewood....

Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight
I'm gonna open up your gate
And maybe tell you 'bout Phaedra
And how she gave me life
And how she made it end
Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight

Flowers growing on a hill, dragonflies and daffodils
Learn from us very much, look at us but do not touch
Phaedra is my name

Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight
I'm gonna open up your gate
And maybe tell you 'bout Phaedra
And how she gave me life
And how she made it end
Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight

Flowers are the things we know, secrets are the things we grow
Learn from us very much, look at us but do not touch
Phaedra is my name

Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight
Flowers growing on a hill
I'm gonna open up your gate
dragonflies and daffodils
And maybe tell you 'bout Phaedra
Learn from us very much
And how she gave me life
look at us but do not touch
FADE
And how she made it end

Now we're sharing the same dream
And our hearts they beat as one
No more love on the run

So why is this in my head?
    Oh gee. Dragonflies and daffodils?
Okay. But someone needs to learn to sing the first line because that's not how it goes. I don't know how it goes anymore because all I hear is this wrong way with emphasis on the wrong syllable, wondering if this is a tomato tomato deal. Is it?
Some velvet morning when I'm straight.
Okay. I'll have forgotten by then.
    Thought so. (smile)
