In the armes of rimed soil
lies the autumn's last withered leaf
Land now bare and naked
awaits it's snowy sheet
And as the light still lingers
painting scarlet this barren scene
An old man sings his song
of melancholy and relinquish
I'm a whirl deep in dark waters
a stare in the shades of fir-trees
I'm riding above with north wind
herding the black clouds of rain
Mine is the kingdom
far from the moon to the sun
I am the elder
standing forever as one
And in that sudden moment
when everything's turned to still
He abruptly breaks the silence
becomes one with longing
And singing ever stronger
nature joins as one with him
Fire in his eyes
universe under twisted grin
lies the autumn's last withered leaf
Land now bare and naked
awaits it's snowy sheet
painting scarlet this barren scene
An old man sings his song
of melancholy and relinquish
a stare in the shades of fir-trees
I'm riding above with north wind
herding the black clouds of rain
Mine is the kingdom
far from the moon to the sun
I am the elder
standing forever as one
when everything's turned to still
He abruptly breaks the silence
becomes one with longing
nature joins as one with him
Fire in his eyes
universe under twisted grin

Great song. I really like the guitar..The lyrics are also good
are we sure its mine is the kingdom? or is it mind is the kingdom?
This song seems to me a little hard to decipher but the first two verses sets a scene of a old man in a post autumn in a snow like environment: "lies the autumn's last withered leaf" "Land now bare and naked awaits it's snowy sheet" means waiting for winters snow.
Its just about sun-down time: "And as the light still lingers painting scarlet this barren scene"
"An old man sings his song of melancholy and relinquish" not too sure about this, i do not know if it is as literal as a old man singing but it is refered to again at the end of the song
The chorus does not make any sense to me, i think it may just be the singer praising this "elder ones" life or the magnificence of his presence.
And the last two verses seem to be about him becoming one with nature, so i think he died or drowned himself in a river.
-my first attempt be kind :()
