truly amazing song... and i believe the word "griot" is referring to the name used for african traveling poets/singers.
such a good song. When they came through they played this as a closer and it was the greatest song i had ever heard live. so sad but at the same time celebratory.
I think this song's just about traveling and meeting some really great people through it, all over the country.
