Ha! Until I read the lyrics, I always thought he was saying "I wanna stab you in your face," not "there's a statue of your face." If these lyrics are indeed correct, that totally changes my perception of the song's tone for the past nearly three years!
i thought i said "hey rita i stabbed u with ur face" and i was like wtf?
Ahhh I love this song. Local H rocks :) I always saw this song as being about a girl... obviously... but not so much as a girlfriend or wife, just a good friend, maybe seeing them after for the first time in a while and just kicking back and reminescing and paying tribute to a friend.
Just my interpretation, I'm probably wrong.
I think this is about someone famous in history, and some parts would be easier to understand if I knew who, but some famous Rita.
