Bulletproof Cupid (Vocal) Lyrics

( Before Bulletproof Cupid became an instrumental, Brian spent quite a while trying to conjure some lyrics to complement the song. The idea was finally abandoned, but the attempt remains )

Everything's forgotten
Everything's so rotten
Why don't you release me?
Why don't you just tease me?

I don't think I need you anymore
I don't think I need another whore
I just feel like you should wait
Time will tell before it's too late
When all is said and done you
Just ain't no fun to be with

You're my bulletproof cupid
You're my little stupid
You're my fluctuated
You're my inspector gadget
You're my new toy to play with
You're my toy boy to be with
You're my bulletproof cupid
Just a little too stupid

Everything is taken
Everything's awakened
Why don't you reject me?
Why don't you just infect me?

I don't think I want this anymore
I don't think I want another whore
I just feel like we should wait
Time unfolds then it's too late
When all is said and done you
Can't be the one to run with

You're my bulletproof cupid
You're my little stupid
You're my incarcerated
You're my fortune faded
You're my new tool to play with
You're my new fool to be with
You're my bulletproof cupid
Still that little bit stupid

Where did you get this one? Is there a version actually with text available somewhere?

there isnt a vocal bulletproof cupid....only an instrumental on "sleeping with ghosts"

there are rumours that placebo/brian molko never wrote these lyrics: they were created by a fan, and passed around the placebo message boards.

they certainly sound quite like your [not so] average Placebo fare. I love the instrumental, but I would like to hear both versions; these lyrics seem pretty cool.

As far as I understood it they were released as part of the fanclub newsletter

It dosent sound like molko lyrics really but he could sing "blah blah plop" and it would sound great!!! damn him :)

it does sound like REALLY hard instrumental to put lyrics to. its better without them anyway

if these were the lyrics, i'm glad they went without them! these are awful! they may have ruined an otherwise good song!

These were indeed written by a fan, Bulletproof Cupid is only an instrumental... I refuse to believe Brian could write trash like that.

Why trash? If the song had been released with those lyrics, wouldn't you go 'Awesome song, great lyrics'? Stop being preconceived, the lyrics aren't trash. Brian didn't use them because "they would sound like fuckin' metal" or sth like that.... The song is good without lyrics, though.

hmm well apparently he did write these and he could never get it quite right which would explain why he therw them in bin cause quite frankly they are awful... but honestly why would they ever be published if he canned them. makes more sense that a die hard fan attempted brian-esque lyrical greatness and failed miserably
