I'm guessing it is about personal battles. Trying to overcome your inner hurdles in life; Whatever it may be. One must pass the test to survive.

I thought this song had to do with war just by looking at the title but that can't be it. I personally think its about society in general and how some people just don't seem to care for others even when they need it... Someone needs help and the world is oblivious to it all, right? Thats how I interpret it I guess.

the first verse paragraph explains the dull life of people around you who don't think back up by technology and computers. They follow rouines and lines, all to follow the test set by society, to be accepted, thinking inside the box.
The chorus, the person is crying out for help, which ends up being useless and in vain since no once will listen, and the person is shocked by the worlds ignorance.
Verses after the chorus, i think may be people misunderstanding, people not caring can lead to horrible mistakes and tragedies, but breakign that apathy and having them understand and use insight in the world can help to break them from the "spell" of society and just a meaningless life in general.
after the chorus plays again, describing how if apathy is replaced with feeling can break the person off from the black and grey life into a colored, deep world.
