well put together song .self explanatory . someone whos found another and that person is the world to them .
to me it can be seen on two levels, both describing relationships. one with a close companion/lover and one with God. i see the links in some of the wording...
"you're everything i try to be" - mirroring a relationship with Christ "the rise and fall to respond to the call" - the struggle to respond to the voice of God "all i need is your hand" - pretty self explanatory "take me, make me" - a cry for God to do just that "I sing a new song" - directly out of Psalms

definately a song about salvation, faith and God.
"You're everything I try to be" - Trying to be like Christ, an impossible task, but a great goal.
"You're all I have so break me down You're all I am and nothing else matters" - It is said that God does not build a man but breaks him. In order to restore him in the image of Christ.
"All I need is a plan" - the Lord's individual plan for all of us, each one of us is made for something spectacular through Christ.
This is a great band guys. Musically they are really good, the keyboard is what makes the band. Very similar to MAE, but different in the same sense. The lyrics are really solid, a band with content. Check em' out and buy their new album "Composure". It rocks!

if this song is about God how would you explain "I got butterflies"?
I certainly see the connections but i think is more about finding a person...
God's given me butterflies more than any other person, so I don't see why that line needs an explanation.
It's about God taking you out of your comfort zone.
