Hear Me Out Lyrics

Breaking the Rubik's cube
Making me lose the beat.
Blue jean-baby girl,
We are an apogee
down in the christmas tree.

Hear me out
you don't know I'm here

I want it all too soon
faster than laser beams
Come on now people,
take your depressed friends out
they need a love to stay.

Hear me out
you don't know I'm here.

I wanna come and play
outside your bedroom gate.
I wanna pick you up.
Blue jean-baby girl,
take me to outer space.

Phew.....I found it now,
all of the common places are in their face.
The world is trapped inside
taking me for a ride
And I don't know your name.

Hear me out
you don't know I'm here
(hear me out)

This is my fave Ben song on his new album.

I'm not entirely sure what it's about, but it's a dang good song! The harmonica in the beginning...the chorus, just an outstanding song. One of his best, along with "In Other Words", "Falling", "Problems", and "I Don't Know Why". Ben's the freaking man!!!!

It's about being pushed aside and wanting somebody to care about you. The word "Apogee" which is the highest point of something sort of explains where you once were. At the Christmas tree, somebody had their moment, but it's all downhill from there. And the song is about being left along with nobody, bored, playing with your Rubex's cube and he hopes somebody sees his sadness and hears him out!

"Phew.....I found it now, all of the common places are in their face. The world is trapped inside taking me for a ride And I don't know your name. "

I always pictured this as a flashback when the blue jean girl and him met. love this song. at the end of this song, at a concert, BK threw his harmonica. and I caught it. great song. alot of anxious love involved.

I really can't choose a favorite BK song, but this one if definately up there!

"Come on now people, take your depressed friends out they need a love to stay." I think he's telling his friends to take HIM out, but I don't know, either way, I LOVE this song.
