For me, this is sort of a longing to get Closer/Grow your relationship with God sort of song.

My sin is sulfur. I can smell sulfur. [Sin is awful, is feeling convicted] Save me from fires, but not from your fire. [Save me from the fires of hell, but not for the fire (desire) to be closer to you] Inhale. Smile. Exhale. Cry. [inhaling (getting closer) You is glorious. exhaling (falling away from You) is pain.] What will you make of me? Set my matchbox heart aflame. [What's Your will for me? Set my already willing heart on fire for YOU.] Refine me. Do not be angry. Define me. I am alive. Inhale. Alive. Exhale. Alive. [ Make me new. Have patience with/forgive me. Shine through me. You make me feel so alive.]
