This song is so awesome. I love Devildriver because:
A) They are just really heavy, loud and cool and B) They don't seem to be taking themselves too seriously.
Powerful song, Dez said he saw this as his Eulogy, played as his funeral. It's about just steamrolling through life and giving everyone a big "fuck you" as you go. I disagree with quiffporn, they are taking themselves VERY seriously, and I think their power is going to be really comming into fruitation as they grow... god I can't wait for "Fury of our Makers Hand." Goddamn, they're fuking awesome!
to me its about someone going through life full of anger but one day he realizes he isn't happy or w/e so as he says ' cry for me sky'
this song it saying 'ive lived the way ive wanted to, and i am the man i want to be. so when i die, dont cry, cus i died happy' the song is saying there will be no ound but the crows. no humans will cry. no one will be sad, they will know he was himself through and through and is happy now even in death.
all he wants is 'heaven'/'the afterlife' to embrace him.

I think it's saying that he's saying to his loved ones that when he dies don't worry just remember him. Hes saying that he doesn't care how he get's through life as long as he gets through it. When he's dead and in the ground he won't hear crying because everyone at the funeral will be remembering all teh good times.
