If I Had More Time Lyrics
Here
is where I left you.
It was to test you.
Did you last that long?
So long.
Now
I understand you,
but can’t comprehend you.
And do I need to work so hard.
And I'd be on to you,
If I had more time
Slow
and I will kiss you.
I’ll most likely miss you.
Its been a long, long time.
And now
won’t you come over?
And like drunken rovers
we’ll stumble ‘round downtown.
And I'd be on to you,
If I had more time
Underneath your curtained window
I called out your name.
If I had more time
Here
is where I left you.
It was to test you.
And did you last that long?
So long.
And now I understand you,
but can’t comprehend you.
And do I need to work so hard.
And I'd be on to you,
If I had more time
More Time
If I had more time
If I had more time.
is where I left you.
It was to test you.
Did you last that long?
So long.
Now
I understand you,
but can’t comprehend you.
And do I need to work so hard.
And I'd be on to you,
If I had more time
and I will kiss you.
I’ll most likely miss you.
Its been a long, long time.
And now
won’t you come over?
And like drunken rovers
we’ll stumble ‘round downtown.
And I'd be on to you,
If I had more time

If I had more time

It was to test you.
And did you last that long?
So long.
And now I understand you,

And do I need to work so hard.
And I'd be on to you,
If I had more time
More Time
If I had more time
If I had more time.

I think it's "And I'd be onto you" because it would make sense more than "To not be onto you" because before that line he always talks about comprehending the other person...yeah
I don't know why but it makes me think of Romeo and Juliet. Especially the "Underneath your curtained window/I called out your name." part.
