With a simple wave,
her hand creates my universe.
She spins and dances around the fire.
Eyes search the open road,
caught up in the sound of
transmissions burning down the wire.

We reach out for the sky
and were never coming down.
We reach out for the sky
and were never coming down.

Live life in extreme
better then any magazine could ever hope to describe.
Ripped, we sweat this desert dance, baby do your best.
We're on our way to higher consciousness.

We reach out for the sky
and we're never coming down.

Keep reaching, keep reaching.
We're never coming down.

High on a million breaths of her,
I surrender to the magic all around me.

We reach out for the sky
and we're never coming down.

General CommentThe song seems to be an ode to becoming one with nature. I'm not sure about "were never coming down", but it could signify becoming one with nature through hallucinogens, which seem to be a common theme of the album. Desert Dance could be an allusion to The Burning Man Festival, which could easily be what the entire song is about as well.

General CommentWhile this could be about the Burning Man, remember that this album involves a lot of soul-searching - both of the self and of society - and that a lot of the themes are bigger than just one material subject. I don't think this is about drugs; this is not a band that talks about drugs that much at all. A 'higher consciousness' might be a change in perception that causes us to see the world in a far better way, a new paradigm - this higher consciousness is more lasting than any drugs out there.

General CommentAre you both really that lame. This song is about SEX. DUH. When you hit the right person you achieve a higher consciousness, or haven't you ever got laid. Maybe the whole thing sucked, lol. It is not hard to realize what this song is about, come on.
