Electric Six uses a reoccuring theme on their first CD which is men abusing thier power. This one is about a rich guy promising a girl fame and fortune, but she gets dragged into a more sinister business (either porn or stripping) where he threatens her to keep her where she is.
This is about a horrid, manipulative, emotionally abusive relationship...right?
Anyone else notice the beat from Gary Numan and the Tubeway Army's Down in the park in mixed in the background? I thought I noticed it in the beginning but then I knew it was there in the rift between the verses.
