Seems like it could be about a lot of things. What comes to mind first is that everyone's out to make a profit out of you, not caring about your feelings while doing so, and the refusal for anyone to do anything about it. But eventually the guilt catches up on them and they know they're in the wrong. I'm probably totally off but read the lyrics with that in mind and it should hopefully make sense. Awesome song, and that one opening riff is hella catchy.
