Picked this album up today actually (souls at zero) diggin it so far, I like the different dimensions neurosis packs into a compact disc. Plus its strange.
I believe that this song is about social anxiety in some form. He wants to reach out to the world, because he's so desperately alone. But every time that he does, he "[feels] the frost" and "[runs] back to the secure."
