reminds me of "to everything, turn, turn, turn..." by the byrds. Apparently had a biblical reference in that one. Maybe the same notion for this hit.
this song is great first of all although i don't understand the song as much as i would like to... i noticed the opposite concepts faith -- science hurt -- healing but it didn't go anywhere... i guess just live your life to it fullest... but nevertheless i love this song...

I think this means that you should live life to its fullest also it says how life varies from good things to bad things and how you should just make best of the good. That is what it means to me. ;=}
I think the song is self explanatory. it's SUCH a good song to run to or to drive to.

First the contradictions in the verses only to have them erased all with the final line. So powerfull.
Those contradictions, to me, is to show that there is a time for everything. Although that there is war, ther will be peace someday, etcetera...
