I know this probably isn't right, but it sounds like the singer has multiple personalities disorder.
"1 2 3 4" - god such an awesome vocal ensemble. an awesome song. from an awesome band.
I take it the title is a nod to Pulp, and the song a kind of tribute. It could almost eb a cover version of one of their songs.
