In the walls, in the fall
I can see them all, the 44 superstores
All across the mall

It took a while for me to know
I am not alone
It took a while for me to know
I'm not alone

Oh oh oh...

Take your time, take a breath
Disregard the rest
The falling chains, the falling lies
Make pretend you're mine

It took a while for me to know
I am not alone
It took a while for me to know
I'm not alone

Oh oh oh...

Well I want to wake from my disease
And the cure is lying next to me
And I'm trying so hard, trying to be
What you're dreaming of, what you're dreaming of

Stay (stay), stay awake (stay awake), stay alive
It's the only breath you'll take (take)
When you go (when you go), when you go, go, go, go

Well I want to wake from my disease
And the cure is lying next to me
And I'm trying so hard, yes I'm trying to be
What you're dreaming of, what you're dreaming of
And I'm trying so hard, yes I'm trying to be
What you're dreaming of [x5]

General Commenthow could no one comment on this song? it was their first single and first video to be played on tv, before 'my coco' was introduced to the masses.

this is the song that made me fall in love with stellastarr*.

the meaning of the song is pretty obvious. somewhat like 'untitled', it's another song about changing oneself. he's presenting himself to a girl who had left him previously, telling her that he realizes now that she was there for him the whole time. she was the one who stood by him through it all. but she finally gave up when he wouldn't realize that she was there. he came to his senses eventually and now he wants to make up for it all, and show how he's changed and recognized the love she had. but she's having a hard time taking him back, so he's trying harder than ever...
