Mysteries Lyrics
God knows how I adore life
When the wind turns on the shores lies another day
I cannot ask for more
When the time bell blows my heart
And I have scored a better day
Well nobody made this war of mine
And the moments that I enjoy
A place of love and mystery
I'll be there anytime
Oh mysteries of love
Where war is no more
I'll be there anytime
When the time bell blows my heart
And I have scored a better day
Well nobody made this war of mine
And the moments that I enjoy
A place of love and mystery
I'll be there anytime
Mysteries of love
Where war is no more
I'll be there anytime
When the wind turns on the shores lies another day
I cannot ask for more
And I have scored a better day
Well nobody made this war of mine
A place of love and mystery
I'll be there anytime
Where war is no more
I'll be there anytime
And I have scored a better day
Well nobody made this war of mine
A place of love and mystery
I'll be there anytime
Where war is no more
I'll be there anytime

Pretty straightforward lyrics, but this song is so hauntingly beautiful that I can't let it pass. Amazingly, the only place I've heard this song was on an obscure Ukrainian music channel, but that only proves how wrong the mainstream music broadcasters are! We need radio channels and TV channels that broadcast the good music, right people? BETH GIBBONS RULE! THE VOICE OF THIS WOMAN!!!! I CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE HOW IT IS POSSIBLE AN AURAL ORGASM
Hello why ain't no one commenting the songs of this ingenious lady? This is some of the most outstanding music I've ever heard in my life(I'm 16).
it's actually: "when the time bell glows, my heart and i have scored a better day"
you might emiliana torrini's new record if you like this...

Today I've heard this song for the first time and I suddenly fell in love with it. It's haunting, pure poetry about the beauty and joy of life, despite of every damned trouble we have to deal with. Beth Gibbons is one of the last romantic authors living (you know, "romantic" in a wide meaning, a literature meaning, not only sentimental).
I like it when beth feels happy, like she was feeling during writing this song..but also love it when beth is feeling down because of the beautiful songs then too.. Love this one!
it makes me cry but I wish it was more bare.
I just found this song last night and I can't stop thinking about it. Beth Gibbons really had created a masterpiece
This song is part of the OST of "Les poupées russes", I recommend watching it only after "L'auberge espagnol"
