amazing song....obviously about how humans are destroying the planet, ''her'' being a reference to ''mother nature''. some very powerful lines in this song. love it.

Its against the attitude that some people have. They think only about today and not about tomorrow the "live this/the moment-attitude". It is a FU to this kind of thinking.

Agree with @paper_champion about it being an elegy for the planet we all live on. An elegy is a poem or song that is mournful.
So this is Robb's elegy for the slow death that Earth is suffering, mainly from the harms, greed and selfishness of humans (in general).
