This reminds me of endless hours sitting in front of cartoons as a kid. These are words from a song in a cartoon called "An Itch in Time." It's a flea singing about looking for it's next meal. You can hear this at: http://www.nonstick.com/sounds/A_Flea.html. The cartoon dates itself --one of the lyrics is "there'll be no more meatless Tuesdays..." My brother and I sing this song a lot as it's pretty danged silly.

yeah, alissa... you've got it right. This song was in the 1943 cartoon with elmer fudd. It's not a "Tre song", or Green Day. I guess you could say that they covered it. Well, unless you're a 16 year old, in which case nothing that happened more than 10 years ago counts.
