Across These Waters Lyrics
Come on and take me by the hand and show me - take me to a place where I can see. Where there's no darkness to surround me, a place where time stands till for you and me. This love I feel inside will last till this world crumbles and I, I will love you from now on. I love the way you look at me; the way you look into my eyes, and show me everything's all right. Across these waters that have come between us, my heart beats faster, and my knees are getting weaker. Every thought I have is of you. Give me just one more thought of you.

dude i love this song. this either about God or some girl, hard to tell. i got to meet the guys at a concert and talk with them and theyre awesome. go to a concert. its great.
I think it's about God, cuz they're a Christian band. But I guess it could apply to a girl too.
I seriously wouldn't think they were a Christian band if this was a song about a girl.
"Every thought I have is of you." If every thought they had was of a girl then they would be putting her before God.
"take me to a place where I can see. Where there's no darkness to surround me". Who can take you to a place place there's no darkness? I know God can. Is there any girl with that ability? I think not. The closest I can think of is where being together, they are able to ignore any darkness or maybe even embrace it, that is human nature.
"the way you look into my eyes, show me everything's all right". Another trait I can attribute to God. I guess she could tell him everything is all right, but she couldn't show him by looking him in the eyes. She couldn't even know if she was telling him the truth or not, but God could.
It's okay to have a love song about a girl (I think they have a few), but some of the things in this song can't be and shouldn't be attributed to anyone other than God.
