No Donnie, These Men Are Nihilist Lyrics
Pride caused the fall.
Like the ashes you came from,
you'll burn the sky, and when you're gone, no one will cry.
Drown the towns with apathy, set our hearts in water.
Kill the scene with treachery, quenching all, all of our fires.
When you're gone no one will miss you
and when you're dead no one will cry.
Kiss your life goodbye.
You believe in nothing.
You believe in nothing.

obviously you dont watch enough good movies hung up on your teenage angst and that overrated nonsense movies like donnie darko.. The title is from the big lebowski and the song is about basic nihilism.
it's pretty self explanitory. there's no point to life if you have no faith in anything. and it's so true. which pretty much makes this song amazing.
quite a large reference to the movie donnie darko in both the title and the lyrics.
"Are those guys the Facists, Walt?"
"No Donnie, these men are Nihilists. They're nothing to be worried about."
Awesome song!
I can agree w/ Danse, i used to have a basic Nihilist attitude on life...nothing really matters.
This song is awesome, and pretty much explains why i'm not as Nihilistic/Apathetic anymore
Mintyfresh is pretty wrong on that. The name is from "The Big Lebowski." The song doesn't have much to do with the movie, besides the nihilist subject of it.
This song just reminds me of someone who absolutely noone likes because of their rudeness and disbelief in anything. And I love the way that he screams "Noone will cry"
this is an incredible song.
"When you're gone no one will miss you and when you're dead no one will cry."
Thats awesome
These are definatly my least favorite lyrics from an ET song.
this song always makes me think of casey jones' song no donnie, these men are straightedge even though et wrote their song years before.
