just a few corrections, otherwise, pretty awesome song.

Such a good song. I'm suprised nobody has commented about it yet. I especially like the part that says "I'm as fake as a widow's smile This mask of glass is what i choose to wear".

This song is about contradictions. Alot of people will change themseleves to fit in and try to acheive a better life, and the cliche is to "be yourself" In this song, he wants a "better life", but he can't achieve genuine happiness because he's "as fake as a widows smile" the mask being glass means to me about being able to still see through a fake, so the mask really serves no purpose, people will be able to see right thruogh it. The rest all fits into the metaphor,

"the light now is my weapon", you can't see anything in the darkness, so he uses it to see through to other fakes, which he is, he says that "It’s kinda cute how I resent to be Everything but the instrument I am"

im glad to see at least someone has read the damn poem, im hoping. to the little fucknuggets above, the song is called Let it Enfold You. you retards could have figured this out in one of three areas 1) the cover of the damn CD 2)a simple google search to see the tracks on the cd 3)the header on the web browser

hoenstly, take some time to read the poem. its about 200 lines long, and amazing. basically, the poem speaks about forsaking corruption and evil, and living for the small, beautiful things in life. its written by charles bukowski. some ofthe lines of the song are almost taken straight from the poem, so im thinking it deals with the same theme. even in death, the singer (buddy) is able to find peace in the serenity of washing ashore. theres another great poem about the same type of serenity and peace caleld gift by miwolsz (i know i didnt spell that right, buts its polish and hard to spell off the top of your head).
