Tomorrow Lyrics
Pulled into the station
And they're playing Waylon Jennings
When you're driving through Selena
You'll see the lights they'll blind ya
Yeah, and I'll be thinking of you
Home, my baby's going home
My baby's going home
Tomorrow
A million miles of nothing
Yeah, you're driving on the moon
I can smell you on the pillow
Of the hotel room
Baby, make it home and call me soon
Home, my baby's going home
My baby's going home
Tomorrow
Home, my baby's going home
My baby's going home
Tomorrow
And they're playing Waylon Jennings
When you're driving through Selena
You'll see the lights they'll blind ya
Yeah, and I'll be thinking of you
Home, my baby's going home
My baby's going home
Tomorrow
Yeah, you're driving on the moon
I can smell you on the pillow
Of the hotel room
Baby, make it home and call me soon
Home, my baby's going home
My baby's going home
Tomorrow
Home, my baby's going home
My baby's going home
Tomorrow

This song was co-written by Carrie Hamilton, a close friend of Ryan's who worked on the 2003 album "Demolition" with him. Sadly, CC passed away before the album was released and Ryan was heartbroken. I think this song was written at the time Carrie was dying, the two lovers parting ways... tragic.
"God Bless You Carrie Hamilton, Wherever You Are" Ryan Adams, 2002
Top tune. In 2002, Ryan said "I wrote that with a friend of mine, a playwright called Kerry Hamilton, who has since died of cancer. I was living in Room 1034 at the Hollywood Roosevelt, and it was written the day before she was going back to Colorado. It was the last time I was to see Kerry healthy. I'm still going through it and I haven't been able to touch it in a song."
