Explode Lyrics
On her website, she said that this song came from a poem she wrote called "Teenage Waste". and it was about how when you're a teenage you want to try everything and talks about teenage experimentation and fun as well as the violence and aggression. I love this song by the way, one of my favorites by her, she's a great writer, and one of my favorite artists.
Me too!!! Wow. Great song, great beat. I think this song is just about teenage life, and wanting to grow up.
I think this song is great. It is about the different experiences that teenagers go through and how stressful it can be. I think that a lot of people do not notice how hard being a teen is. By the way, to the comment above: Crayon Drawn Cat: I think that Avril Lavigne is an extremely talented writer. She may not have a life time of experiences but that doesnt mean that she can't understand other people and thier experiences. I think you need to apprieciate the difference and talents and abilities of others
awesome song, could listen to it over an dover
Is this the song Avril Lavigne person wrote? I heard there was one song Nelly Furtado sang that was written by Avril or something. Perhaps I'm wrong. O_-
Are you fucking kidding me? Avril Lavigne definitely did not write this song. Avril Lavigne doesn't have the musical capacity nor the life experience to write a song this intense. This song is my life. People seriously discount Nelly Furtado and her ability to represent the crazy teenage girl. I know that's not all that she's about, but I definitely identify with that aspect of her lyrics, and how can not love how quirky and unique the music.
I just love the "it's a fight...and it's spinning" That's awesome! So biting, it's wonderful. I also love her voice just after that bit and towards the end, she's sort of crying "we're counting the stars" it's so thrilling.
This is a very wonderful song. But i have a question. At the beginning what does she say and what does it mean?
She's talking about things that happen while your a teenager...and how they end up as insignificant gossip...and looking back you realize how horrible it was
I think this song is talking about all the things teenages do and don't realize until they're older how stupid the things were.
