I was an athiest
You wore the crucifix
We put our differences to the side
Lesson taught well and lesson learned
You told me not to mourn
Your heart was bigger than any man alive
Campbell California
Oh please don't let me down
Robert I remember when you used to run the town
I'll never forget and I'll always be your friend
I'll be seeing you on the other side
I'm weakened at the knees
From pain and now you are free
I miss the days that you walked with me
Loyal brother, loyal friend
Showed me how to be a man
I love you Robert and I always will
You wore the crucifix
We put our differences to the side
Lesson taught well and lesson learned
You told me not to mourn
Your heart was bigger than any man alive
Oh please don't let me down
Robert I remember when you used to run the town
I'll never forget and I'll always be your friend
I'll be seeing you on the other side
From pain and now you are free
I miss the days that you walked with me
Loyal brother, loyal friend
Showed me how to be a man
I love you Robert and I always will

This is one of my favorite songs on Indestructible. It's a tribute to Lars' older brother Robert who died. R.I.P.
yeah this is the best song on the album. its funny how lars had a family member die and tim had his wife leave him but brody is the ssue of most of the album, not lars' brother Robert.
i like this song i think its one of the best too! i think its sorta sad that he lost his brother i think its cool that they wrote a song about Robert cause he was pretty close to Lars. May Robert R.I.P
i love the song and its just filled with emotion.a great tribute
This ends the album "indestructible" on a high note. I almost wish it was the first track on the album, but it's really cool when the cd ends with this great song and raps back around to Indestructible
This song is AWESOME. I can listen to it all day.
"I love you Robert and I always will"
I love this line because it's not exactly the type of line you'd expect to hear in a fast-pace punk rock song...Rancid is full of surprises.....I remember the first time I listened to Maxwell all the way through....I didnt know that there was that insane bass solo in it
This is a punk rock song that fucking damn near makes me cry...so much emotion, such a moving tribute.
