Django Lyrics

Get one thing clear
First you live in fear
Then you disappear
Headlight, you're the deer
Shift gear and try to steer
I see a tear
You're so fuckin' insincere

Django you drag a coffin around
You drag a coffin around, you drag a coffin around
Django you drag a coffin around
All around town
Just like a dead man does

Go have some fun
Show you belong
Cocaine run
Until you watch the fuckin' sun go
Underground and
Never found and
The drugs are around
Got you tired, fuckin' down

if you read the lyrics carefully enough the meaning is simple...

along with the movie relevance it's also about how drugs will kill you, for eg - Go have some fun Show you belong Cocaine run Until you watch the fuckin' sun go Underground and Never found

what they're basically saying is taking drugs is as good as carrying your coffin around with you, ya get me?

note: DJANGO is a rocksteady/ska/dancehall artist from the east coast. hmmmmm

read the note in the lyrics book. IT'S NOT ABOUT KING DJANGO. it's about watching the old Django spaghetti western movies on tour.

the wheels on the bus go round and round all around town just like a dead man does.

According to: dvdmaniacs.net

In the movies, Django is a man who we're first introduced to when he is found dragging a coffin through the desert...Quite possibly one of the bloodiest and muddiest of the Spaghetti Westerns, Django still holds up today and it's influence can still be seen in recent films like Reservoir Dogs and Desperado.

There have been over 40 unofficial sequels, however in name only.

It's too bad the song doesn't have much meaning (as far as has been discussed, anyway) because it is among the coolest sounding songs on the album.
