Obviously, this song pretty well explains itself, but I think the lyrics are beautiful. This is just Marc having a conversation with his friend that he has just lost, telling him how important he was to him and everything.
i had the privilage of seeing marc sing this live in augusta maine 2 years ago when he was touring with Maroon 5 and carbondale. its an awsomely powerful song and marc does quite well. ive been a fan of his since the show... excelent peice...
Marc wrote this song after a friend of his died and performed it at his funeral a few years ago. This song is absolutely beautiful.
I thought this was about his grandfather's death.
