Declare this an emergency
Come on and spread a sense of urgency
And pull us through
And pull us through

And this is the end
This is the end
Of the world

And it's time we saw a miracle
Come on, it's time for something biblical
To pull us through
And pull us through

And this is the e
This is the end
Of the world

Proclaim eternal victory
Come on and change the cause of history
And pull us through
And pull us through

And this is the end
This is the end
Of the world

    My Interpretation

This song mocks the belief that there is an apocalypse. Matt is saying, "With all the shit that's happening in the world, it's time for the apocalypse. You've been saying it'll happen, so let it happen."

"Declare this an emergency Come on and spread a sense of urgency And pull us through And pull us through"

I think he is directing this to religion extremists who believe they are leaders of the world. He is telling them, "The current state of the world we live in calls for the apocalypse. Since you've been telling us all that it'll happen, help us through it." Declare this an emergency, come on and spread a sense of urgency – he is telling them to make it official the world is ending, seeing as they are influential people in the world.

"And this is the end This is the end Of the world"

I've come to understand that this repeated chorus is Matt mocking the belief that the apocalypse will happen. He's saying "this", what's happening in the world now, is the apocalypse we've been warned about.

"It's time we saw a miracle Come on it's time for something biblical To pull us through To pull us through"

In the first line, Matt's saying it's time God proves His existence. Time for God to show a "miracle" (i.e. something that is impossible, in Matt's belief). In the rest of the verse, Matt is mocking the lessons God has taught us, saying it's time for His teachings to help us though the apocalypse.

"Proclaim eternal victory Come on and change the cause of history And pull us through And pull us through"

If the apocalypse is to happen, then God has proclaimed eternal victory over the non-believers. Matt is urging God to do it, to prove him wrong and to end history. "And pull us through" in this verse is a bit confusing, but I suppose it could be Matt asking God to help the non-believers through it anyway.
