I'm surprised that I'm the only one who's posted o this song.
Probably because SM was down since their album came out. That's why barley anything from In Reverie has been commented on. Either way, this is definatly a favorite on their new album. I think it kind of speaks for itself. He's trying to find the "light", or the way even though everything is all dark. Bah, bad explanation. I need sleep.

yeah great song. and i agree with savestheweez. definately about finding happiness and leaving the darkness/sadness behind. i think chris is turning into a hippie which isn't a bad thing.

This is the only song from in reverie i can stand. God, through being cool was soooo good, why have they gone downhill so much? SWYA was ok at best, but most of this album is just pathetic. Cmon guys. Don't do this to me.
I don't understand why everyone hates In Reverie. It was a good album. And just for your information, their new album is going to be a lot better because it's "Every scrap of Saves the Day sound ever recorded", so it will have a lot of old stuff on it (hints, things from the Through Being Cool and the Can't Slow Down time period).
yeah, In Reverie is a beautiful album. You didn't honestly believe that STD wouldn't change throughout all these years. It would have been very sad if they didn't.
anyway, I think this song is either about God or about having faith in politicians. But I really think it's about God. He refers to wars and working to earn a living and just stuff that's going on today. And then he says "But i'm driving in the dark towards you/ Not stopping 'till I catch the sunlight in my eyes." I mean, that's what people basically do when they believe in God.
ya this album is by far very new and different to the crap being played these days. i like it better than swya. anyways i think this song is about finding happiness when you're living in a depressed/sad state. i think chris has gotten very spiritual with this album and metaphors are everywhere on this album trying to find peace/happiness.
STD songs are always super difficult to figure out, to me anyway. I put In Reverie on hold for a long long long time, I bought it the second it came out, but am really just now actually LISTENING to it...we'll see what comes of this. They ARE my favorite band.
