I'll Be Seeing You Lyrics
I’ll be seeing you;
In all the old, familiar places;
That this heart of mine embraces;
All day through.
In that small cafe;
The park across the way;
The children’s carousel;
The chestnut tree;
The wishing well.
I’ll be seeing you;
In every lovely, summer’s day;
And everything that’s bright and gay;
I’ll always think of you that way;
I’ll find you in the morning sun;
And when the night is new;
I’ll be looking at the moon;
But I’ll be seeing you.
In all the old, familiar places;
That this heart of mine embraces;
All day through.
The park across the way;
The children’s carousel;
The chestnut tree;
The wishing well.
In every lovely, summer’s day;
And everything that’s bright and gay;
I’ll always think of you that way;
I’ll find you in the morning sun;
And when the night is new;
I’ll be looking at the moon;
But I’ll be seeing you.

I know this is an older song, but I heard it for the first time only a few weeks ago and I just fell in love with it. It's a lovely song with a beautiful melody, and it's already one of my favorites.
ahh me too. i just heard it today and it almost made me cry.
Mmmmm.
just reading the lyrics makes me wanna cry
"i'll be seeing you" holds a very special place in my heart. it reminds me of my relationship with my best friend and old flame.
to me, the song is pretty straightforward... how you will always see a special person in a special (happy, positive) light. it's about embracing the memories of a person you cannot be with at that moment.
The song is about a woman whose husband has died in war. Or wife, depending on whether it's a man or woman singing.
