Well i believe its a girl that hes broken up with who is still holding on to the relationship 'a letter to me a waste of time' obviously wrote a letter and he wont change his mind. He tells her how different things could be with another person. kinda sad if ya think about it, but it sounds like he believes its best for them.

I agree. I think that this song is about moving on form a broken heart. this is one of the beter lostprophets songs out there, and thats saying something.
every song on "start something" is so good, this is definitly one of the best ones though. i agree that the song is about a girl he broke up with and shes trying to get him back, but hes basically saying that shes only hurting herself, she needs to let go
