Really god song about losing everything and having no one to turn to. He is wishing for anything that will help him, even a magic charm as long as it helps a little.
Very good melodic song by Ra. Hero said it straight. Original and well thought of, as are all of Ra's songs.

Doctor's diagnosed it and told him how much time he's got. The rest is about growing weak, helpless, and distant from loved ones as he wishes to die (for relief). Yet wishing for more time too. Then finally starting at "I can hear voices calling", he's starting to die and telling someone that after he's dead they will remain to ponder what took his soul from his body.
