Cure Eclipse Lyrics

The night breathes different,
and the cold was named anew.
She sits in a wordless space,
the grin gave us away.
And that was the end,
that was everything dying.
And that was the end,
that was everything.

Cut into the face and,
think straight.
I was doing everything,
to keep me from choking.
With the weather heavy,
heavy at the fireside,
You'll say it so well, so well.

Dreary can come out and move yourself away.
I know you owe me, I know you owe me,
this year, this year cure me.

And I was barely here
but I'd been there for years.
Thought I'd leave it there so it,
couldn't follow me here.
And I've been thinking of you,
as the days grew color.
With the seconds turning hours,
my end turned alive.

The night, breathes different,
and the cold, was named anew.
I found so much, more this way.

I think that this song means new life: stop looking at the negatives of life and focus more on the positive things. And that when you start doing that, everything will be better. It says that on the 36 cf bio that was on their site (now no longer there but find it here: http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/36-Crazyfists-Biography/A712FCA2A3C7FE2D48256C4D00162BC5) that it set the right tone for the record since before tthey used to make songs about the depressing parts of life. This song contains lines that suggest someone changing his ways "The night breathes different," and that it was really difficult to live: "I was doing everything, to keep me from choking," and it shows that he wants to change his ways: "this year cure me." and that once he has, things have gotten better: "...as the days grew color." "...my end turned alive." "I found so much, more this way." So yeah.. that's what I think what this song's about.
