I was looking at songs with my dance teacher and I heard this song as a possability to do a dance to a while ago. I didn't listen very closely,but the other night i heard it in my dreams so I youtube-ed it and listened closely to the lyrics and had shivers come down my spine......truly beautiful
though it is hard to really decide, this may be the most powerful song on "o" or at least to me it is. "and all i've got is your hand" is such a great line said with such faith, yet hopelessness. magnifiscent.
when the chanting comes in it says don't you know i love you and i always have hallelujah will you come to me
is that the voice of the Lord? is this an old testament song? i think it is.
by far one of the most powerful songs on the album i'd say too, his voice is just so amazing and mindblowing.. i love how the girl also sings in this one i love her voice too there great to see live..

when i first heard this song i thought he said "all i've got is your hat" as in she was there, and then she was gone, and all she left was her hat. i thought it somewhat silly.
The first time I heard this was on headphones outside- cold & alone -while looking up at the stars. Wow. I would highly reccommend that.

the first time i heard this song, i was in my basement doing laundry, and it was playing on national public radio.....i stopped what i was doing and just listened. the first part, where he is singing really softly, sent chills thru my body. -when the girl joined in, i started getting teary, but after the chanting came and went and Damien started singing again, i broke down and started bawling like a baby! this song is SO beautiful!
Possibly the most haunting track on the album. The lyrics aren't the bands best but the feeling in this song is greater that on any other track. This is possibly one of the most emotional songs I have ever heard.
